Job – Head Chef

Salary £40,000 – £45,000 plus tronc and bonuses

Our client based in the Centre of Cambridge is currently seeking a Head Chef to lead their kitchen team. The role involves creating menus, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene. We need a strong and creative Head Chef who can lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team. The business prides itself on sustainability and using fresh, locally sourced produce.

Key aspects of the Head Chef role will be:

• Menu Development:

The Head Chef will have autonomy to create menus and specials, showcasing seasonal ingredients and market trends.

• Team Leadership:

The role requires inspiring and developing the kitchen team, managing staff rotas, and ensuring effective training and development programs.

• Operational Management:

This includes managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and overseeing food preparation.

• Guest Experience:

The Head Chef will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
