The Role:

As Director of Sales, you will oversee all aspects of the Sales & Events function—from handling enquiries and securing bookings to organising seamless event execution and managing post-event feedback. The successful candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, with a focus on driving revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and expanding the hotel’s client base across corporate, leisure, and social sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the full sales and events cycle: enquiries, proposals, bookings, contracts, and feedback.
  • Driving new business development across all revenue streams (corporate, MICE, leisure, weddings, and more).
  • Owning the hotel’s local sales delivery strategy, including social media campaigns and promotional events.
  • Collaborating with marketing to create and promote seasonal packages and bespoke experiences.
  • Leading the team in implementing dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date systems and reporting tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and diary management.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a motivated and commercially-minded leader with:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales or events management.
  • A proactive approach to lead generation and client relationship management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales & marketing plans.
