A recruitment agency is currently working with a well-established independent café and pizzeria group to recruit an experienced Café Manager for their busy Cambridge location.

This role would suit someone with previous hospitality management experience who enjoys leading teams, delivering excellent customer service, and managing a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.

The Role:

As Café Manager, you will be responsible for the daily running of the café, ensuring excellent service standards and smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily café operations
• Leading and motivating a team of hospitality staff
• Creating weekly staff rotas
• Recruiting and training new team members
• Ensuring excellent customer service
• Managing cash handling, tills, and banking
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering
• Leading team meetings
• Maintaining health & safety and food hygiene standards
• Monitoring KPIs and business performance

Requirements

• Experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, Coffee Shop Manager, or Assistant Manager
• Strong team leadership skills
• Passion for food, coffee, and hospitality
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good English communication skills
• Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
